Paid traffic management

Paid traffic management on Google Ads and ChatGPT Ads

Paid traffic management is the continuous operation of ad campaigns on Google Ads and, since August 2026, ChatGPT Ads: structuring the account, writing ads and creative, setting up conversion tracking, and adjusting bids, audiences and budget every week based on what the data shows. Fluxo charges a monthly fee separate from ad spend, which you pay directly to the platform, and reports cost per lead, cost per sale and return on ad spend.

What is included

What you receive

  1. 01

    Account structure

Campaigns split by search intent, not by product. That is what lets you bid differently for someone searching "price of X" versus "what is X".

  2. 02

    Conversion tracking

Conversions configured and verified before any campaign goes live. An account optimizing for the wrong event spends budget teaching the algorithm to bring the wrong customer.

  3. 03

    Ads and creative

Ad copy, images and video produced in house, with at least three variants per set so the test has something to compare.

  4. 04

    Landing page

A good ad pointing at a bad page is wasted budget. When the page is the bottleneck, we step in with landing page development.

  5. 05

    Weekly optimization

Data review and adjustment every week, not just at month end. Budget misallocated for thirty days is a full month of lost results.

  6. 06

    Open reporting

A dashboard with cost per lead, cost per sale and return, updated continuously. You do not have to wait for a meeting to know where you stand.

Process

How we run it

  1. 1

    Audit the current account

If an account is already running, we start by reading its history. Old accounts usually hold useful learning plus three errors quietly draining budget.

  2. 2

    Measurement before media

We configure and test conversions, tags and CRM integration. We do not launch campaigns on top of tracking nobody verified.

  3. 3

    Launch in waves

We start with the highest-intent campaigns, prove the cost per lead works, and only then open top-of-funnel.

  4. 4

    Weekly rhythm

Every week: read the data, cut what is not performing, reallocate budget and put one new test live.

Fluxo runs two paid channels, and they do not compete: one buys people already searching, the other reaches people mid-conversation. On Google they typed the problem. On ChatGPT they are reading an answer, and the ad appears below it.

The practical recommendation: start with Google. It has volume, detailed attribution and twenty-five years of predictability, and it is where the math closes first. ChatGPT Ads comes second, as a test channel, once there is a baseline to compare against.

How much to spend on media

The math starts at the end, not the beginning. If you close one sale in every ten leads and each sale leaves USD 300 in margin, a lead can cost up to USD 30 without losing money. Multiply by the number of sales you want per month and you have the budget.

The most common error in inherited accounts

When auditing accounts that come to us, the most frequent problem is neither bids nor keywords: it is misconfigured conversions. An account that records "clicked the WhatsApp button" as a conversion teaches the algorithm to find people who click, not people who buy. After a few months the account is optimized to deliver browsers.

Fixing that usually produces more result than any bid adjustment, and it is the first thing we check. Once the CRM is integrated we can send the actual sale conversion back to the platform, which changes everything — that is the subject of CRM and sales automation.

What changes when advertising in ChatGPT

OpenAI opened advertising in ChatGPT to Brazilian advertisers on 11 August 2026, with the ads manager still in beta. The ad appears in a labelled box below the answer, for logged-in users on the Free and Go tiers, and does not influence its content.

Two differences change the work. Targeting is by conversation topic, so instead of a keyword list what you build is the list of conversations where your offer belongs. And attribution comes back aggregated, which forces measurement to be built on your side, on the site and in the CRM.

For those who cannot advertise there, appearing in ChatGPT is still possible organically, which does not depend on category approval: that is the subject of AI search optimization.

What you receive every month

  • A dashboard with cost per lead, cost per sale and return on ad spend, always current.
  • A record of what was tested, what was cut and why.
  • A monthly meeting to read the numbers and set the next month priorities.
  • Full access to the accounts, which stay in your name.

Frequently asked questions

Is ad spend included in the management fee?
No. The management fee is separate from media budget, which you pay directly to Google and OpenAI with your own card. That keeps spending transparent and the accounts in your name.
How long until results appear?
First leads usually arrive in the first or second week. Cost per lead only stabilizes after 30 to 60 days, once the algorithm exits its learning phase. Judging a campaign in week one is reading noise.
What is the minimum budget you work with?
We recommend starting from about USD 1,000 per month in media. Below that, conversion volume is too small for the algorithm to learn, and professional management rarely pays for itself.
Who keeps the ad account if I leave?
You do. Accounts are created under your entity or your access from day one, with all history intact. There is no scenario where you leave and lose the account learning.
Is it worth advertising on ChatGPT Ads now?
It is worth it if you are retail, e-commerce or travel, already run traffic, and can allocate a test budget without depending on its return. It is not if this would be your first paid channel, if your sector is not permitted in the beta, or if every unit of spend has to come back predictably this quarter. We tell you which case is yours in the first conversation.
Do you produce the creative or do I have to supply it?
We produce it. Ad copy, images and performance video are in scope. If you already have brand assets we build on them; if not, we create from scratch.
